DESCRIPTION:Two-day refresher course for general practitioners (in training)\nOn November 5 and 6\, 2026\, the annual course ‘Ontwikkelingen in de Geneeskunde’ will once again take place at De Doelen in Rotterdam. The program consists of twenty lectures covering a wide range of topics. When determining the topics\, the program committee is guided by current events\, but it also gratefully makes use of the suggestions for topics made by participants in the previous edition. \nIn addition to refreshing old knowledge\, new developments are highlighted. Relevance to the general practitioner is prioritized in all presentations. This conference aims to expand the boundaries of medicine by sharing original insights into the diagnosis\, treatment\, and organization of care in the early life course. It will cover both theoretical foundations and practical interventions in the periconception period\, as well as the latest approaches to deliver multidisciplinary\, network-based care in collaboration with local social care partners.
